Who Should Participate in Ozarks GreenScore?

Any organization that is interested in proactively protecting the environment, reducing operational costs and becoming a model for other organizations is encouraged to participate. This includes, but is not limited to, the following the following categories:

  • Institutions (colleges, universities, schools, hospitals, local government programs, etc.)

Technical Assistance Program

Ozarks GreenScore is not only a program to recognize businesses and organizations that are making a strong effort to reduce their environmental impacts, it is a program to help those businesses and organizations achieve their environmental goals while saving money. The program includes resources from various environmental professionals in Southwest Missouri that can help your organization identify potential environmental improvements, assist in completing the scorecard and implement improvement projects at your facility. These professionals can provide assistance in the following areas:

  • Energy efficiency
  • Water conservation
  • Carbon Footprint analysis
  • Water quality protection
  • Wastewater management
  • Air quality protection
  • Solid waste reduction/recycling
  • Hazardous waste reduction
